CEF® Committee

Purpose: Child Evangelism Fellowship® board and committee members provide vision and leadership to the ministry in the areas of finance, ministry programs, staffing and governance. They ensure that our ministry is spiritually strong before God and legally strong before men.

4 Main Types of Committee Decisions

Finances – Committee members manage and decide how to proceed with issues regarding budget and spending, weekly to quarterly reports, and managing reserves.

Procedures – Committee members ensure internal communication, workload, and responsibilities are both encouraged and balanced, as well as keeping accurate records of activities.

Staff – Committee members check in with staff and report on ministry effectiveness, office culture, and tend to the spiritual needs of the workers in the chapter through prayer and encouragement.

Ministry – Committee members are tasked with ensuring the ministry of CEF is growing and reaching new people. This is mostly done through obtaining ministry partners, such as local churches and pastors. This is also practiced through community outreach, being willing and proactive in sponsoring and hosting events, and involving said ministry partners in the resulting spread of God’s Word.

More members are urgently needed at CEF Oakland/Macomb offices. We are currently lacking three members and have had our ministry severely limited as a result. Any support in this area would be greatly appreciated.
